Veteran Affairs

Veterans and their families have sacrificed so much, and many have sustained long-term chronic health issues because of it. We as a nation are facing both a housing crisis and a crisis regarding adequate funding for the Veterans Affairs (V.A.) This places veterans, particularly disabled veterans, at an extreme disadvantage once their time in uniform is up.

The best way to help our disabled veterans is to provide them with housing that meets their needs and helps ease the transition to civilian life. I’m proud to support this bill to drive down housing costs for our veterans and help appropriately and more accurately address and solve the issues they face.
