Every year, each member of Congress is allowed to submit projects for a one-year funding consideration during the annual House Appropriations process. This allows Members of Congress the help to fund projects that will make an impact in the lives of their district’s residents. Please note that not all projects submitted to our office will be selected and if selected must be reviewed and approved by the House Appropriations Committee.
The Appropriations Committee continues to place a strong emphasis on the federal nexus of projects consistent with all federal policies and guidelines. Only projects within the 12th Congressional District will be considered.
